A Trueffles Space is your workspace where you create, edit, and organize your knowledge and ideas in smart maps.
Here are the key features:
Workspace overview and detail view – See overview (= the canvas on the left) and detail view of selected Trueffles or connections (section on the right) at the same time.
Create, connect, style and organize Trueffles and connections – Create, name and style circles, draw connections and name them.
Add a profile and details – Create a short profile for each Trueffle or connection and fill them with more detailed info.
Speed it up with T.A.I. – The Trueffles AI helps you find information and fill out your map faster.

Here’s what you’ll find:
Your own (work)Spaces – View and manage Trueffles Spaces that you have created. You can search through them, mark them as favourites, filter, duplicate, share and publish them.
Collected Spaces – Access Spaces from other users that you have saved.
Your profile – Manage your profile and account settings like upgrading your account or setting your profile to public.
Community Overview – Discover the broader Trueffles community and mark others as your favourites.

Trueffles is a collaborative research tool where you can compile, organize and share your information in enhanced mindmaps that show how things are connected.
Why is it called Trueffles?
Trueffles – the combination of "true" and "truffles" – stands for finding information that is not obvious at first glance and being able to directly check the underlying sources. What true or false – Trueffles – is, is mostly a philosophical question these days. What we can do about it, is to directly link the sources to the information we gather. This gives everyone the opportunity to find out easier, whether the source and the respective information is legitimate.
What is Trueffles' vision?
Trueffles is about a simple vision: more collaborative research and fewer individual people sitting behind a computer screen, reading website after website and trying to make connections between each piece of information they find. We want to enable everyone to see and show how everything is connected.
What is the team's motivation?
Our Drive: We want to contribute to a more transparent, understanding and exchanging world. Our Purpose: To connect it all, so everyone understands. Our Mission: We are building a platform that makes it easy to obtain an overview and show how things are connected.
Is Trueffles really free?
Yes, the basic account is for free and comes with all features to try out. If you want to explore more and need more workspaces, upload space or AI credits, you can upgrade to Trueffles Pro.
Is my data secure?
Yes, all of your (and our) data is safely stored on EU servers.
Can I use Trueffles on my phone or tablet?
Trueffles is currently optimized for desktop and laptop computers. While it may open on mobile, the full experience — especially creating and navigating visual maps — works best on a larger screen. We're focused on giving you the best possible clarity and control, and that means starting with desktop-first.
